Intex to launch a 6-inch HD smartphone with 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor

Intex is riding high on the success of Aqua range, After the success of Intex Aqua i7, they have tied up with Media Tek again for the launch of 6 Inch HD phone with Octa Core processor, before some time, we covered the news that Media Tek has launched a new True Octa core processor.

New Intex smart phone which hasn't got a name, but we believe Intex Aqua i8 would be the perfect fit to coincide with the Octa Core processor, new Intex smart phone will be 6 Inch phablet with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution so in terms of pixels per inch, it will come to 245 ppi. It will be powered by 1.7 GHz Octa Core processor with 2 GB RAM. It will have two versions based on internal memory 16 GB & 32 GB.

Intex's Octa Core phone will run on Android 4.2 OS and it will sport 13 Mega Pixel auto focus camera with LED flash and on the front it will have 5 Mega Pixel camera so not much change if we compare it with Intex Aqua i7.

For the splendid looks, it will have all metal design plus Yamaha 1420 dual speakers for better sound quality.

Unlike Samsung's Exynos Octa Core processor, Media Tek processor will be able to activate it's all 8 Core simultaneously where as in Samsung it activates only 4 core at a time.

Key Specifications:-
  • 6-Inch HD Screen with 245 ppi
  • 1.7 GHz Octa Core Processor with 2 GB RAM with 700 MHz Mali GPU
  • 16 GB / 32 GB internal memory, two version.
  • 13 Mega Pixel rear camera and 5 Mega Pixel front camera
  • Yamaha speakers
  • 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, aGPS
  • Android 4.2
Looking at the specs, it seems that except the processor there is no wonder but we feel that if they add LTE support and KitKat OS then there can be some flare to the product!

What do you say!
