Google introduces Android One Smartphones

Google has introduced it's Android One Smartphone line up in India with the initial partners Karbonn, Micromax ans Spice. Android One phones initial price is around Rs 6399/- whether you buy from Micromax, or Karbonn or Spice. Also they all have same configuration as far as hardware and software is concerned.

Google has tied up with Airtel so that you can get the software updates and some apps free as far as data downloads are required. Google has also committed that Android L will be introduced first for the Android One line up. So if you see the only and major difference for us would be we will get the Best Quality of Hardware and Software at basic price. You will get splendid experience in this price.

If you look at the specifications then all three phones have 4.5 Inch IPS display with 854 x 480 pixels, so in terms of pixel density it will come to 218 ppi. All three phones are powered by 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor from mediatek with 1 GB RAM. They have 4 GB internal memory which you can further expand to 32 GB with memory card.

They have 5 Mega Pixel rear camera with LED flash and on the front it has 2 Mega Pixel camera for selfie!

If you are looking at connectivity options, then all three have 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and USB connectivity. It has 1700 mAh battery.
